I began as a participant at Wellness House when Brian was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2009.  We benefitted tremendously from the support groups as well as the cooking classes, informational sessions and much more.  After Brian passed in 2014 I used their resources to work through the grieving process.  It has been about 13 years we all still love to walk in his memory and support such a wonderful organization that helps so many people.  

These days I have become a chef because of Brian's love of food and his suggestion that I start to cook for other people.  I continue to help people through the food I cook and still honor his memory through our nieces and nephew as well as all of the other kids that call me Auntie.  I hope that they will never need the services that the Wellness House provides but if they ever do, I want the Wellness House to be around to help them as much as they helped me.
