I am participating in Lowcountry Food Bank's 4th annual Walk to Fight Hunger. On September 22, I will walk to raise awareness of food insecurity in the Lowcountry. More than 12% of individuals across the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina that Lowcountry Food Bank serves face food insecurity which translates to 184,480 people. All funds raised at the Walk to Fight Hunger directly support Lowcountry Food Bank’s programs and services dedicated to uniting our community in pursuit of equitable, dignified, and consistent access to food.
