  • Registration Fees: 
    • Bowlers: $50
    • Spectators: $25
  • Suggested minimum team fundraising goal: $500 (Supports 1 Classroom)

Bowl-A-Thon 101

The Accountants Classic Bowl-a-thon is an exciting peer-to-peer fundraising event where the competition begins weeks before the teams lace up their rented shoes. From the moment they register, teams are challenged to raise the most funds to support Junior Achievement’s mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

PEER-TO-PEER FUNDRAISING—HOW IT WORKS

Teams are encouraged to set a minimum fundraising goal of $500, and team members ask their friends, family, and colleagues to donate to meet the goal. 

Edit and share your team fundraising page via email or social media. Keep tabs on your progress, and challenge others to get your team over your goal.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Teams may have up to 5 bowlers. One bowler will serve as the captain who will recruit bowlers and oversee their fundraising progress. Clever and funny team names are encouraged!

Each team will set its own fundraising goal. The minimum suggested team goal is $500.

SPECTATOR REGISTRATION

Non-bowling participants are welcome as spectators. Join the fun and cheer on your favorite team!

Registration fee is $25 per spectator, which covers the cost of food and soft drinks.

  • Highest-Scoring team 
    • $100 gift card per bowler (up to 5 bowlers)
  • Runner-up
    • $50 gift card per bowler (up to 5 bowlers)
  • Superlatives
    • $25 Chick-fil-A Gift Card per bowler
    • Best team name (up to 5 bowlers)
    • Best Cheering Section (not enough spectators)
    • Best dressed team (up to 5 bowlers)

All proceeds from the Accountants Classic Bowlathon will be used to provide JA's proven programs using curriculum centered around three major pillars: workforce readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship for students in Eastern NC.
