Putting books in the hands of kids who need them most!

I'm fundraising for Page Ahead's A Taste for Reading benefit luncheon to help build home libraries for Washington kids who really need them. The pandemic has made it even harder for kids in communities of concentrated low income to access books and keep their reading skills up—but giving kids their own books at home, that they can read at any time, will make a difference!

Reading has been such a huge part of my life, and Marc and I wanted the same for our kids. We started reading to them the day they came home from the hospital and saw the impact this had on their abilities in school, as well as in so many other parts of their lives. Every child deserves this opportunity, and it is such an easy one to fulfill.
