Putting books in the hands of kids who need them most!

I'm fundraising for Page Ahead's A Taste for Reading benefit luncheon to help build home libraries for Washington kids who really need them. In this fund raising season, my goal is to raise $7,000. That $7,000 would provide a home library of 12 books to 140 students, which is SEVEN classes of K-2 graders. For those 140 students, having access to reading material is the catalyst to unlock knowledge that wasn't previously accessible, opening up a whole new world of opportunities for growth and development!

Please join me at the luncheon on April 30 (either in person at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel or by watching online), or consider making a gift now. Together, we can help change the lives of low-income students!

Who are we? Page Ahead Children’s Literacy Program is the leading provider of children’ s books and literacy services in Washington State, serving nearly 27,000 children in need every year. Since 1990, Page Ahead has given more than 4 million new books to more than one million children through collaborations with schools, social service agencies, preschools, and early childhood centers across Washington state. More than 70 percent of the kids we serve qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and more than 76 percent are children of color.
