Putting books in the hands of kids who need them most!
I'm fundraising for Page Ahead's A Taste for Reading benefit luncheon to help build home libraries for Washington kids who really need them. The pandemic has made it even harder for kids in communities of concentrated low income to access books and keep their reading skills up—but giving kids their own books at home, that they can read at any time, will make a difference! It costs Page Ahead just $50 to build a home library of 12 brand-new books for a child who might not otherwise have books at home. Let's make a BIG difference with books today!
Please join me at the luncheon on April 30 (either in person at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel or by watching online), or consider making a gift now. Together, we can give EVERY kid the chance to read!
