I am honored to be invited to participate on the Homecoming Court of the Project Grad -Achieving Dreams Fundraising Event. Project GRAD Akron began in the Akron Public Schools in 2002. For 22 years, Project GRAD Akron has been helping students make positive transitions by programs including the Bridge to Kindergarten program in collaboration with Kent State University, the College and Career Central class, the Summer Institutes in collaboration with the University of Akron, the GRAD Mentors! program, and the scholarship program. These transition pathways are supported by so many caring people who fervently believe in the motto: “Graduation Really Achieves Dreams”.
