As a parent whose children all attended Akron Public Schools, l've seen firsthand how important it is to provide every student with the support, resources, and encouragement they need to succeed-not just in school, but in life. Project GRAD Akron plays a critical role in this mission. Their work empowers students to overcome obstacles, stay focused on their goals, and pursue higher education or career opportunities they may not have otherwise considered. I've long admired their commitment to equity, mentorship, and academic achievement. Education changes lives.
