Further, I am willing to help as many students as possible to avoid the crippling burden of student loans.

Name of your favorite teacher and what made the person special to you:  Mrs. Hagen, my 7th grade teacher, who thought I was bright and had what it took to succeed in anything I wanted to do...and told me so. She promoted me from the 7th to the 9th grade, and the rest of it is history. I often think of her and try not to let her down. This was 75 years ago.

What are some of your most enjoyable times in school?  Riding on the football bus after winning a game! Being able to walk home with the regular kids after the season was over.

Looking back over the years, what advice would you give to your high school self or college self?  I was relentless and hardworking...so I would say that I did it right.

Anything else you would like to share or highlight:  I believe that this country fails to recognize that higher education is intrinsically a societal benefit, hence we should not place such a heavy burden on the students.
