Name of your favorite teacher and what made the person special to you: John Katzeer – he gave me extra support when my mother died in my senior year of high school. He engaged me in interpretive reading and the debate teams to take my mind off of my sadness.
What were some of your most enjoyable times in school? I enjoyed some of my extra-curricular activities, including student government, and I truly enjoyed professors in college that introduced me to new ideas and ways of thinking
Looking back over the years, what advice would you give to your high school self or college self? Be bold in your thinking and do things that take you out of your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid to speak truth to power. Strive for excellence in all that you do.
