In a few sentence, describe your connection to U2FP, why you chose to run in support of U2FP, and whether you have a personal connection to spinal cord injury and paralysis:
Playing hockey growing up, spinal cord injury was always a fear of mine. Many in the hockey community have been affected by these injuries; our high school hockey team used to do a charity benefit game against a local sled hockey organization. I was always inspired by individuals who had experienced a spinal cord injury and by the many stories of those who have made partial or full recoveries. I think funding research to help individuals affected by paralysis is one of the most important causes out there.
