Dear family, friends, and supporters:
I’m currently a senior, and this will be my final year as a member of the Maui High School Marching Band. This program has meant so much to me over the past few years, and I’ve had the privilege of being part of its post-COVID revival.
Freshman year, we brought shows back to football games. During my sophomore and junior years, we returned to traveling for marching competitions like the Conquistador Classic and the Mililani Trojan Bandfest. Now, for my senior year, we’re heading back to California to take on a national-level competition our band hasn’t attended since 2017: Bands of America (BOA).
None of our current members have ever performed at BOA, so for all of us, this is a huge milestone, a first, and an exciting opportunity to represent Maui on a bigger stage.
To make this trip possible, we need your help to raise funds for student travel costs and logistics.
