Running for Camp One Step – Supporting Kids Like Hallie
This year, I am running the Chicago Marathon to support Camp One Step, a place that means the world to my family. At just 7 years old, my daughter Hallie was diagnosed with leukemia—an experience no child should have to endure. Through the ups and downs of treatment, she found strength, hope, and connection with other kids facing similar battles, thanks to Camp One Step.
Camp One Step provides kids with cancer the chance to simply be kids—to laugh, play, and form lifelong friendships with others who truly understand their journey. The impact on Hallie has been incredible, giving her a community of friends who lift each other up and experiences that remind her she is not alone.
By donating to my marathon fundraiser, you’re helping more children like Hallie experience the joy, support, and healing power of Camp One Step. Every mile I run is for these incredible kids. Please consider donating and making a difference in their lives.
