Raising funds for Chesapeake Conservancy
The last couple of years, the "Bay Advocates" (a motley group of friends) come together to walk (and some run) the Bay Bridge. The "Bay Advocates" believe a healthy Cheesapeake Bay is worth fighting for...it is priceless.
18 million people and over 3,600 plants and animals call the Chesapeake Bay "HOME". This is HOME where families make memories, wildlife thrives and history runs deep.
The Chesapeake Conservancy is dedicated to preserving this HOME for generations to come and to perserve it's biodiversity. The Conservancy is using ground breaking data to identify valuable lands to protect and enact sound conservation policy in addition to restoring impaired streams.
You can help be a part of the solution by contributing to our fundraising page. The funds will be used to benefit the Chesapeake Conservancy's programs that protect the entire watershed. With your help, the Conservancy will continue to support the preservation of the Chesapeake Bay.
