Hi everyone!  On Saturday September 6, I will be participating in the Bleeding Disorders Walk to support the bleeding disorders community in the Rochester region. All proceeds from this event go directly to supporting patient programs and services throughout the year.

The Hemophilia Center is 60 years old.  They are the only Hemophilia Treatment Center in the Rochester region, and also treats patients with von Willebrand disease and other rare bleeding disorders. I am a patient there and so is my mom.

The Hemophilia Center helps make my bleeding issue better.  They care about me, listen to me and get me the medicine I need when I bleed a lot.  The nurses are so kind and Dr. Kouides is a cool doctor who knows a lot of things.  The patient events they plan make me very happy. I get to go to these events because of my bleeding.  I get very happy when I help raise money for the Hemophilia center, so they can provide more support for patients.
