I'm running the 2025 BMW Berlin Marathon with Team One Step, which supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that runs year-round camps and educational experiences for children diagnosed with cancer.
I've volunteered with Camp One Step for 15 years and have witnessed firsthand the awesome power of the camp experience. For many kids living with cancer, it's their first time meeting and playing with kids they can fully relate too. It's pure childhood joy again.
Selfishly, I'm also really excited because Berlin 2025 will be my first international marathon. It's about time I travelled a bit to do one.
