Because every child deserves comfort, joy, and the chance to be a kid, even in the hospital.

I'm passionate about supporting hospitalized children through the power of play. As part of the Child Life team here at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, I see firsthand how toys and activities help kids cope with fear, pain, and long hospital stays.

Child Life Specialists use toys, games, art, and play to:

• Reduce anxiety and stress during medical procedures
• Provide comfort and normalcy in an unfamiliar place
• Bring smiles during some of life's toughest moments

That's why I'm hosting this drive. We're collecting toys and donations to make sure children in the hospital have access to comforting, fun and therapeutic items all year long, not just during the holidays.
