The founding of Joy And Ink was profoundly shaped by the loss of our founder and current president's nephew, Jai Henson, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017 and tragically passed away in 2019 at the age of nineteen. Our mission is to effectively integrate the fields of arts in medicine, geek therapy, and resilience training to address various mental health issues, including Post Intensive Care Syndrome, that families encounter.
