I co-founded ROMP in 2005 and led the organization for the past 20 years. This year, I've retired from my role as Executive Director and am supporting the ROMP mission as a volunteer, fundraiser, and advocate. I’m thrilled to be participating in 2025 Climbing for ROMP. This is my 11th climb. I'm honored and grateful to be a part of this team and this mission. Millions of people worldwide are left immobile by an amputation because they don’t have access to prosthetic care. The Range of Motion Project is leading a global fight to make the lack of a prosthesis a footnote in history, like surgery without anesthesia. Our clinics in Guatemala and Ecuador provide life-changing prosthetic care and community-based rehabilitation to hundreds of patients each year. We’re taking this fight to the global level by educating rising clinicians, researching best practices, and advocating with decision-makers.

You donation has a specific impact:
$15 -Pays for one session of specialized mental health care from our licensed psychologists. It's roughly the amount you spend on bottled water each month.
$25 -Pays for a home visit with a ROMP patient before and after they receive their prosthesis. It's roughly the amount you spend on coffee each month.
$100 - Send the ROMP mobile clinic to the communities where patients live. It's approximately the amount you spend on streaming services each month.
$250 - Repairs a broken prosthesis and keeps someone on their feet.
$500 - Replace a worn prosthetic socket tom improve comfort and function.
$1000 - Provide Rehabilitation therapy for someone learning to walk.
$2000 - Fund a custom prosthetic device and ongoing care, empowering someone to walk again.
$5000 - Gets components and materials to make 100 prostheses to a ROMP clinic.
