This June, I’ll be participating in the Walk for Animals to support the Central Vermont Humane Society (CVHS)—a nonprofit that relies entirely on individual donors, local businesses, fundraising events, grants, and small service fees to continue its vital work. CVHS holds a special place in my heart. After the loss of my beloved furry friend Bella, they gave me a way to reconnect with animals and continue healing. Their work goes far sheltering pets—they build compassionate connections between people and animals, every single day.
