2025 Dancing With The Stars Voting

Katie & Justin Anderson

About Us

Meet the Andersons! If there’s one thing you need to know about Justin and Katie, it’s that they’re always up for a good time – especially if it’s for a great cause! Justin, who works for Bowman Development, and Katie, the owner of Sprout: Plants & Things in Williamsport, MD, are proud to call Washington County home. Together, they are raising two awesome kids, Jack (7) and Maggie (5), and are working hard to set a good example of what it means to give – to others and back to their community. Katie spent 17 years as an educator with Washington County Public Schools and is a current board member on the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Foundation, where she spent the last 10 years of her teaching career as the Lead Creative Writing teacher. Justin spent 7 years on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, is a BBBS Heritage Member, and is a proud graduate of Leadership Washington County, Class 32, and together, the Andersons know the power of rallying behind a mission they believe in. While Katie brings serious dance moves and competitiveness to the stage thanks to years of cheerleading and performing, Justin freely admits his dancing skills could best be described as “enthusiastic” – especially after a drink or two – but, he’s never met a dance floor he didn’t love. Justin and Katie are here to lift the community up—and maybe even each other if the choreography calls for it (or even if it doesn’t). They are goofy, they are spirited, and they are ready to give it their all for Dancing with the Arc Stars – no matter how many toes may get stepped on along the way. Get ready for laughs, heart, and maybe even a few unexpected moves.

Why dance for The Arc Wash Co?

We’re beyond excited to dance for Dancing with the Arc Stars because it’s not just about the moves (thank goodness!)—it’s about the mission. The Arc does incredible work empowering individuals with disabilities to live independent, fulfilling lives, and we’re honored to support that. If we can bring a little joy, raise some awareness (and hopefully a whole lotta money), and maybe learn a cha-cha along the way, then we’re all in—dancing shoes and all!
