Tad and Anne met in July 2020 and two things became apparent soon after:
1) Anne can dance. 2) Tad can’t dance.
Some might recall Anne’s memorable first appearance in Dancing with the Arc Stars 2019, where she appealed for sympathy votes after an unfortunate ankle injury left her dancing in a stylish air cast. Anne is excited to again participate in Dancing with the Arc Stars and looks forward to competing at full health this year. Tad is excited to spend time with Anne, and will do his best to not embarrass her too much on the dance floor. His logic: in addition to supporting a great organization, if Anne can deal with his dancing over the coming several months it will be further vindication that their marriage and bond are strong enough to overcome any obstacle.

"Tad and Anne are both Hagerstown natives with a deep rooted love for this community. The Arc provides a critical service in supporting local children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Tad and Anne feel proud to participate in an event supporting the long term sustainability of one of the very best organizations in Washington County. In addition to raising money and giving advocacy, participating in Dancing With the Arc Stars is reaffirming our commitment to strong stewardship of essential community organizations. We’re incredibly grateful to be included and look forward to partnering with the staff and competing dancers to deliver a great event."
Every dollar is a vote towards your favorite dance duo. You are allowed to vote as many times as you would like to help the dancers reach their team goal.
Team winner will be announced at the event on October 18th.
Each dance team determine their own goal. This thermometer does not indicate which team is in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.
