Hello and BRAVOOOOO, as Harlow would say with arms raised!
Before or on the day of Thanksgiving, we'll (well likely without Harlow as she has finally outgrown her toddler Joovy stroller—she's still in the weight range but not height—and we are still waiting for her new wheelchair) be completing a 5K in honor of Dravet Syndrome.
Feel free to join the Turkey Trot, a virtual 5K, or in the spirit of Thankgiving just give and chill.
We are aiming to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the Dravet Syndrome Foundation. An extremly effective organizaiton that's awarded more than $12.4 million in research grants since their founding. Additionally, every dollar fuels support for families like ours. Without this community, I honestly don't know how we would have coped. I've been attending the biennial DSF conference since Harlow was first diagnosed at 9 months old. The 2012 conference was being held just a few weeks later and happened to be in Minneapolis that year, WOW! It's a priceless resource to connect with other families affected by Dravet, hear the latest in scientific and clinical advancements and so much more.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us support DSF and Harvesting Hope for Harlow!
