We are fundraising for the Dravet foundation to help fund research for a cure. Our Lucy and another local friend of ours in Fredericksburg, Lucas both have Dravet Syndrome. Dravet syndrome is an intractable developmental and epileptic encephalopathy that begins in infancy and proceeds with accumulating symptom burden that significantly impacts individuals throughout their lifetime. Dravet syndrome is a rare disease, with an estimated incidence of 1:15,700. These rare babies need a cure!
