Our story started shortly after my husband and I got married in 2012. That December I found out I was pregnant but then realized I had a chemical pregnancy. A year later we were fortunate to find out we were pregnant again. We welcomed our oldest living child. Knowing we wanted more, we soon became pregnant again in July 2016 only to ultimately lose the baby during my daughter's birthday party surrounded by family and friends who had no idea. We had our second rainbow baby in June 2017. Realizing we weren't getting any younger we decided we wanted one more child to add to our family. In January we found out we were pregnant with the final piece to our family. In March, before the world shut down, I heard those devastating words no one wants to hear, "I'm sorry there is no heartbeat". I was crushed. Unbeknownst to me this started what seemed like a never ending cycle; get pregnant then lose baby naturally or at an ultrasound. I went through this 6 more times over the course of 3 years. After several tests, doctors and hospitals I was physically and mentally exhausted. My husband and I agreed we couldn't do it anymore and decided he needed to get a vasectomy. God had other plans as I found out I was pregnant in November 2023. I was so scared I didn't even tell my husband right away because I knew it wasn't going to last. We prayed every night and held on to what little hope we had. We welcomed our miracle in July 2024. This is the first year we are doing AITO and we are excited to celebrate our 9 stars!
