Team Leader Tips

The Healthier Moms and Babies Diaper Dash can make a huge impact for our families thanks to your participation. The biggest way you can help is by forming a team to particiapte in the dash and raise funds, awareness and diapers for our moms, babies and families!

What does is mean to be a team leader? Aside from being your squad's biggest cheerleader, being a team leader means you're responsible for recruiting teammates, setting fundraising goals, and organizing fundraising activities. But where to start?

Just Follow These Easy Steps

Sign up to become a team leader. Give your team a fun and empowering name! Don't forget costumes and themes are encouraged this year. There will be a prize for the best costume/s!

Recruit your team

Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to join in. Spread the word via email, social media, or any means possible. The more people on your team- the greater the impact on families in our community! As members join, they'll get tips to easily update and share their fundraising page.

Set fundraising goals

Make a plan with your team. Set your group and individual fundraising goals and brainstorm fun ways to reach them. Remember- individual team member fundraising efforts roll into your team's total! They can receive recognition and help contribute to the team.

Raise money

All you have to do is ask. Seriously. Send emails or texts, spread the word via social media. Plan a group fundraiser like Trivia Night. Offer prizes, like a coffee or gift card to the team member who raises the most!

Collect diapers & wipes

Did you know 1 in 2 families face diaper need? Encourage your team to collect diapers and wipes. The team/individual that donates the most diapers and wipes will win a prize!
