Back in 2010 my friend David at 16 years old, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiform. I did not really know what that diagnosis meant at the time for David, his family, or me as one of his friends. I was 14 years old trying to understand what cancer was and that David had it.
You might have read about David's story on the Dragon Master page, "He was funny, quirky, intelligent, kind, and adored by all who encountered him throughout his life. David dreamed of becoming a chef, the kind of person that brings people together to share each other’s company". David was also someone who I watched Quest to Camelot with, watched the "old school" animated Lord of the Rings movie with, and looked through the Dragon-ology books with. Lots of things remind me of David and it hurts to think, "David would have loved this" No one should have to think like that, people of all ages deserve to live out their dreams and experience all what life has to offer them!
