I am thrilled to share that I am on a transformative journey: attempting my first marathon alongside my (half) sister Sarah, an experienced runner who is also embarking into her first marathon. This marathon symbolizes a significant personal growth for me, as it is a fitness challenge I never thought I could conquer. It's also a special opportunity to bond with Sarah and support a charitable cause.

I will focus on building strength and endurance throughout the year to prepare myself for the 26.2 miles ahead. Sarah invited me to join her in this challenge, as she wanted to run the marathon with others. Our bond has strengthened over the past couple of years through meaningful conversations about our experiences and shared grief from losing our moms in 2021.

Additionally, I am proud to be running the marathon for a charity, Dragon Master Initiative. Sarah has been actively fundraising for this organization since 2019. DMI is a non-profit that offers hope to brain cancer patients through data sharing and innovation. They have many programs, but I want to highlight the CAVATICA platform, a free tool for medical research that facilitates collaboration among doctors and researchers. With CAVATICA, medical professionals can stay up-to-date with the latest research on pediatric brain cancer, streamlining the research process for faster results. Your support will directly contribute to these initiatives and help us make a difference in the lives of these patients.
