Why I run for Team Fired Up

I have been a pediatric oncology nurse for almost 18 years.  I actually got into long distance running as a way to process the stress of working with these incredible kids.  It also gave me lots of time to think through how we could better the outcomes for pediatric cancer patients.  Dragon Master Initiative is working hard to provide an online platform where pediatric oncology providers can provide real time feedback & data on current treatment regimens.  Collaboration is one of the keys to providing best outcomes for these kids.  Partnering with Dragon Master kind of brings my running journey full circle as I prepare for the biggest challenge I have attempted.
