Why I run for Team Fired Up
Cancer sucks. Childhood cancer especially sucks. For everyone involved- the child, the family, friends, medical staff etc. Cancer is a known beast, that can take a massive toll on grown adults who receive the diagnosis. Children who are diagnosed with cancer then have an even harder battle as they fight the beast, while also growing, learning, developing. The Dragon Master Initiative raises money and awareness utilizing CAVATICA- an open access research tool that allows medical professionals, researchers and families alike to revolutionize and continuously update cancer research.
