Hi there and welcome to my fundraising page! This is my first ever 10k and my first ever runDisney race. I am so excited! After giving birth to my second child, I became inspired to do a runDisney race. Thanks to a few Disney YouTube vloggers, I saw that runDisney races look REALLY fun. I have walked a 5k before, and that did not seem challenging enough, so I chose a 10k.
I have always enjoyed running...running on and off throughout my life since elementary school to after law school, but before kids. Since giving birth, I have challenged myself and reached physical goals I never thought I could reach. I am ready to do this!
When I researched charities to run with, I came across Dragon Master Foundation, thanks to a tip from a cousin. I soon learned that the founders' son passed away from glioblastoma, the same terrible disease that took my husband's best friend in 2018 at the age of 29. I am running for Hunter and for victims of childhood cancer.
