When I started running races it was just a personal challenge and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I just wanted to run farther than I had before. Over time, I've learned to appreciate the running community and the organizations I can help support through running. Dragon Master Initiative focuses on cancer research and was initially started by a family after their son was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. I'm counting on the day when there will be more hope for families receiving diagnoses like this & looking at organizations like this to ensure that happens! In the meantime, I'll just keep running & raising money
