Our family forever gained a new member when my sister's foreign exchange student, Yuzu, came from Japan for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Disney lover, Yuzu decided to take on the challenge of training for and running the WDW Princess Weekend Half Marathon as her first ever half marathon. I knew I wanted to be part of her journey as soon as I heard she was running, to support her and make this an unforgettable experience. Yuzu's energy and presence has lit a spark in me as I'm reminded that not all children are given the choice of what challenges they face. Therefore, I am dedicating this race to fundraising for Dragon Master Foundation, an organization funding vital research for children who are fighting the battle of a lifetime against brain cancer in hopes that one day, these children will be able to choose the challenges they take on in life.
