Why I run for Team Fired Up
Cancer research became a cause near and dear to my heart when my best friend Amelia was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in August of 2023. I have been lucky to be able to support her as she has effectively kicked cancer’s butt; fighting through many intense rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant. She just celebrated 6 months cancer free! Cancer research played a huge role in that outcome, and I want to help push it forward.
