I'm participating in DogFest Long Island because I see the difference a highly trained service dog makes in My daughter Maddie's life every day. He is her constant companion, retrieving dropped items, flipping light switches, opening and closing drawers and doors, and more. He's also a great mentor for the Canine Companions puppies we volunteer to raise.
As a family, we believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Leading up to DogFest Long Island, we're raising money to support the Canine Companions mission.
