I want to introduce myself, my name is Katrina, I have been appointed team captin. I am apart of the New Mexico Enchanted Canine Chapter. We are doing things a little bit different this year with Dog Fest. In the past we as a chapter have named a dog and well we want to do that again, while donating to Canine Companions. Although, the actual event of Dogfest Southwest will be held in California this year on September 13th, our chapter will be collecting funds for DogFest until the end of the year December 30, 2025. While we may be small here in New Mexico, we really are mighty! 

We’re excited to be part of DogFest Southwest 2025 because we know the joy dogs bring to our lives every single day. Our New Mexico Chapter is proud to support Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities  completely free of charge.

Here in New Mexico, our volunteers have proudly raised over 150 dogs for Canine Companions, each one making a life-changing impact on the person they were matched with. And we’re not stopping there!

Leading up to DogFest, we’re raising funds so more of these incredible dogs can change lives. The impact they have is nothing short of life-changing, giving independence, confidence, and love to those who need it most.
