DogFest Southwest 2025 is a chance to give back to an organization that has become a meaningful part of my life. It all started after seeing the difference a Canine Companions service dog made for a mentor. That moment sparked a connection to the mission and the incredible community surrounding it that has only grown stronger over time.

Since then, two amazing dogs have been part of the journey: Adele III, who is now a breeder, and Victoria VII, who’s in professional training to become a hearing dog. Time and energy have gone into raising, volunteering, and supporting others doing the same throughout the Rocky Mountain and Vail Valley Chapters, and on campus at CU Boulder with the help of Collar Scholars.

Canine Companions provides service dogs free of charge to people with disabilities, and every donation helps make that possible. Thank you for supporting this work and this journey—it truly changes lives.
