I'm participating in DogFest Southwest 2025 because I love dogs and know the joy they bring to our lives each and every day. I also believe in Canine Companions and their mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Canine Companions helped unite me with my service dog, Ocean in 2020! Since then, he has helped me gain back my confidence to travel! Ocean and I have traveled all over the country, meeting people who fall in love with him everywhere we go! All the while, Ocean takes care of me: from taking off my socks to literally helping me get up when I fall. Ocean is not only my best friend, but he has also been instrumental in helping me live a normal life again. I don't know how I would thrive without all that Canine Companions has given me as an organization.
Leading up to DogFest Southwest 2025, I am raising money to support the Canine Companions mission. The impact these dogs have on the lives of people with disabilities is incredible. Help me get to my fundraising goal by donating online so we can get more of these amazing Canine Companions service dogs into the lives of those who need them.
