Keepsake Farm Racing - One Lap of America Fundraising Page
This is my 12th DogFest - and having been involved from the very start of DogFest Washington DC, I can tell you what an amazing and awe-inspiring event it is and continues to be.
I started my journey with Canine Companions in 2009 as a puppy raiser, receiving my first puppy Hamlet II to train. My family and I were inspired by Canine Companions' mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge. Since then, my family and I have gone on to raise many more dogs, with my parents co-raising puppy number 19, Mercury -- named for the fountain at Reston Town Center, where DogFest DC takes place!
It's been a long road -- and we have another long road ahead of us, all to raise money and awareness for the cause. Join us as my brother-in-law Raymond Junkins and I race across the country as a part of One Lap of America to raise money for DogFest Washington DC on behalf of Canine Companions. We're hoping to raise $3,500 -- one dollar for every mile that rushes under the wheels of the 1976 BMW 2002 we'll be driving.
You can track our journey live when we head out on May 2, 2025 by following our Facebook page, Keepsake Farm Racing.
