Dominic was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation in the SCN1A gene. He is clinically diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome. There is no cure and it's lifelong seizures. He has had 1,000s of seizures in his lifetime. All different types too. He is only 5 years old. He is also developmentally delayed in all areas. Regardless of the diagnosis, he is a fighter and happy, loving little guy! He loves life and just does everything to make you smile! This fundraiser is to provide research funds and efforts to help support kids like ours! Dominic has an even rarer form of the mutation which is Gain Of Function. Currently, there is no cure or treatment options for kiddos like him as there are down the pipeline for Loss Of Function kids.
