Corporate sponsorships play a vital role in helping us bring Girls' Day Out to life. By offsetting event costs, their support ensures that 100% of proceeds go directly to life-saving mental health care and wellness services.

Girls’ Day Out is a special gathering that brings together art, philanthropy, and community — all in support of vital, life-saving mental health care.
Hosted by The Women’s Initiative, this annual celebration features a thoughtfully curated art auction and an inspiring afternoon of connection. Proceeds from the event help provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health care for women and community members in Central Virginia — especially those experiencing barriers to care.
Special gifts provide more than half the support for Girls’ Day Out each year — and your generosity fuels the heart of our work. Every donation helps sustain our counseling and resilience programs, making healing and growth possible for women navigating grief, trauma, and depression.
As one participant recently shared: “I don't think I would be where I am now — at peace with my feelings — without the support I received during my pregnancy loss.”
Every ticket, every bid, and every gift makes a difference. Together, we create space for healing, hope, and community.
