This September, I invite you to join our team for the 11th Annual Health for Life Challenge! Together, we’ll be moving in solidarity with the courageous women of Guatemala who are working tirelessly to build better lives for their families. Many of these women live on less than $4 a day and lack access to even the most basic healthcare.

That’s where Friendship Bridge steps in with Microcredit Plus—a program that’s so much more than a loan. Alongside small business capital, women receive access to our Health for Life Program, where mobile clinics travel directly to rural villages, often providing the very first preventive care they’ve ever received.

Your support makes services like these possible:

• Screenings for diabetes and hypertension

• Women’s health exams, including cervical and breast cancer screenings

• Access to birth control and life-saving health education

This year, our team is setting out to collectively “travel” the 90 km (66 miles) from Antigua to Lake Atitlán, the birthplace of Friendship Bridge. Every run, walk, and workout will bring us closer to our goal while also making a real difference—one mile at a time.

We’re aiming to raise $2,000 for this year’s challenge, and every dollar helps provide women with the tools to thrive in health, business, and life.
