I’m thrilled to be participating in the 2025 Health for Life Challenge, a fundraiser supporting Friendship Bridge! 

While I am passionate about this cause, this year I am especially focused on how important health is on all levels. In February, I broke my ankle and had surgery and I had a long journey of healing and recovering, which still continues today. I am now past my 6 month mark post op and my personal health goal is to continuing to gain strength each day - walking, physical therapy exercises, practicing yoga, as well as sharing my story and listening to others.

I can't thank my family and friends enough for all of their support this year. I truly believe that support from the people you love has healing powers in itself and that is true for me. This is why I am asking for your support now.

This year has been especially challenging but I want to use this fundraiser as a way to focus on my health goals, continuing healing, and support this important program. I am hoping to raise $500 through this campaign and I hope to continue to fundraise until the end of the year as well.
