2025 Honolulu AIDS Walk

I walk because HIV is not just a statistic — it’s personal.

I walk for my friends, loved ones, and community members who are living with HIV, and for those we’ve lost. Their strength, courage, and resilience inspire me every day. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges they face — the stigma, the health battles, the isolation — and I’ve also seen the power of support, love, and access to care make all the difference.

I walk because everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and access to life-saving services — no matter their status. I walk to help raise awareness, to challenge stigma, and to be part of the movement that says you are not alone.

I walk because the Honolulu AIDS Walk helps fund programs right here in our community — providing housing, healthcare, testing, prevention, and support to people affected by HIV. Every step we take helps someone get the help they need.

I walk with hope. Hope for health equity, hope for an end to HIV stigma, and hope for a future where we walk only in remembrance — not in need.
