The Hawai‘i Department of Health’s Harm Reduction Services Branch has responsibility for HIV, sexually transmitted infections, and adult viral hepatitis, and we collaborate with other parts of the department on issues such as sexual and gender minority health, mpox outreach and vaccination efforts, and preventing opioid overdose deaths among people who use drugs. We are working to end HIV in Hawai‘i by 2030: zero new infection, zero HIV-related death, zero stigma!
