Alexis was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on January 1, 2020! This is her 5 year diaversary! Last year she had the opportunity to attend a week long camp created for Type 1 diabetic kids only. Camp Seale Harris, located in Alabama allows kids to be surrounded with others just like them; beeping, needles, attached devices, carb counting, and much more! No one is the odd man out, they all fit in. Alexis has decided that she would like to attend yet again, but due to the nature of this camp it is quite costly. All of the staff are trained, multiple nurses and doctors are on site at all times, and everything is catered to children with type 1 diabetes. 

To raise funds, Alexis and her family will be participating in the Camp Seale Harris Diabetes Walk in April. Donations will go directly to the camper account to help pay for this week of specialized camp. Any extra will be allocated to another camper that needs help with funding.
