We are here in support of Evan, raising money and awareness for those dealing with Type One Diabetes. 

Evan was diagnosed with Type 1 a week before his second birthday. Too little to communicate, we knew something was wrong but didnt know what. Thankfully, we knew some of the warning signs and got him to the hospital in time. Extreme thirst, weightloss, soaking through diapers and mood shifts were our big sings. 

He spent almost a week at Vanderbilt and then we headed home with a whole new life ahead of us. Here we are 12 years later with a very healthy happy 14 yr old teenager. Our Type One community has been an amazing support system for us. Evan goes to the ony Summer Camp hes ever been able to attend because of Camp Seal Harris. Its truly the main thing he looks forward to every Summer.
