We are the Paris Team, running in honor of James W. Foley, a courageous journalist who dedicated his life to telling the stories of others and standing up for truth. Jim’s legacy continues through the James W. Foley Foundation, which supports press freedom, the safety of journalists, and the right of all people to be free.

At the American School of Paris, we are proud to host our 11th Foley Freedom Run as part of our first annual Freedom of the Press Week. Our students, teachers, and families are coming together not only to run, but to celebrate the vital role journalism plays in a free society.
