UPDATE - May 22, 2025 - (from Don's daughter)...Great news! The Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery was a success and my dad is seeing great results. His simulator was activated on May 12th. He didn't notice any changes at the initial doctors appointment but still remained hopeful. The next morning we received a text from my mom that read "Dad is doing great this morning! It's like a miracle. Walking, talking, eating, not tremoring! God is good!" Thank you for everyone who has joined the team and/or donated! Funding toward research is so important and helped to make this surgery possible for my dad. This has been life changing!!!

Welcome to my page! I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2015 and I don't let it slow me down. I participate in a Boxing for Parkinson’s class twice a week. I also stay busy maintaining my hobby orchard, small farm, and enjoy hunting every chance I get. Parkinson’s changed my life but I remain positive and hopeful that there will one day be a cure.
Last year our team raised over $6,000 and I was so overwhelmed by the support of my friends & family. Our team had one of the largest groups of team members. Through donations and awareness, I hope more people will join me in the fight against this horrible disease.
