 I'm so stinking excited to be on the Mountain Medical Team for August 2025! It will be my sixth trip to serve the places and the people who have touched my heart so much.

If you've ever wondered what we do on these trips, here's a short list:

• Visit poor communities way up in the mountains where the people have very limited access to basic health care. Some don't have electricity or water in their homes.
• Set up stations for medical, dental, and vision care.
• Weigh & measure the children and chart their growth from year to year.
• Distribute vitamins, Tylenol, cough syrup, and other basic medicines.
• Perform basic medical exams and address any concerns.
• Clean teeth - and do lots of extractions.
• Check vision and give out reading glasses.
• Identify children with special needs and refer them for follow up care in the city.
• And there's a LOT of education about how to stay well. 

I'm asking for donations to help cover the cost of my trip and the medications and medical supplies we need to take care of the families we visit that week.
